Mansfield Homes Sales Up From Last Year - by Tom Brewer

Mansfield Homes Sales Up From Last Year Mansfield home buyers and sellers should be aware that activity is increasing in both new construction homes and existing homes. Sales numbers are up around the region as the economy continues to stabilize and recover. Buyers looking to get the most home for their buck can choose from either new or existing homes, regardless of the home’s status. In fact, according to recent data released by the US Census Bureau, national home sales for the month of October were up 8.9% from the same time last year. Industry experts expect these figures to continue to climb as we head into the New Year. In other great news for both buyers and sellers, the number of foreclosed homes and short sales has dropped from last month. For sellers, the less competition on the market the better chance they have of getting offers at or near the asking price. For sellers, the possibility of getting a good price for their homes for sale is increased by the fact that there are fewer homes to compete with.
