The recent release of the President’s October 2011 Housing Scorecard highlights the fact that, “More than 850,000 homeowners have received a HAMP permanent modification to date, with a median payment reduction of over $520 each month.” For Arlington and Mansfield homeowners, programs like this and several others sponsored by state and local agencies have helped many homeowners either: buy a home, refinance or modify their loan.
