In a recent remodeler survey, the National Assoc. of Home Builders found that remodeling a bathroom was one of the most common home projects during the first half of 2010. The survey also found that there was a drop in the number of large remodeling projects undertaken such as adding rooms onto a home, or building a second story addition and adding onto existing bathrooms.

NAHB's Chief Economist, David Crowe said that the rest of 2010 is expected to be a period of stabilization as far as remodeling goes, but that there should be a very robust increase in remodeling projects beginning early in 2011.

Be sure to check references and take the time to visit some of the work the company has done recently to see if the workmanship is up to your standards and expectations.
