Making Progress in Mansfield - by Tom Brewer

Making Progress in Mansfield

Mansfield Texas, a favorite on top ten lists for years, has seen a similar slow down in the number of home sales recently. The Mansfield real estate market is still performing well when compared to other cities and towns in the country. Part of the reason for this is of course the great press the area receives as being one of the best places to live in the United States.

Mansfield is also a great destination for homebuyers due to the number of affordable homes that are available and, of course the proximity to the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex region – a renowned business, entertainment and travel area. Many Mansfield residents appreciate living in such a convenient location.

Mansfield also offers a wide variety of real estate for homebuyers to choose from whether their budget allows for a home under $100k or in the millions. Property values are steady here so homebuyers do not have to worry about over-inflated appraisals. Property taxes are also relatively low at a mere $0.71 per $100. The reasons for buying a Mansfield home go on and on.

If the number of commercial and residential construction projects underway here are any indication of the continued growth of Mansfield, now is the perfect opportunity to buy a home here. Some of these include a new Cinemark theater, business offices and great retail outlets like Best Buy, PETCO, Michaels and Pier 1.

Falling under the jurisdiction of Tarrant County, Mansfield is guaranteed to be a great place to live. Tarrant County cities and towns enjoy the unique benefit of belonging to a progressive, diverse and desirable area. When the real estate market recovers more, Mansfield will no doubt continue to gain new residents that want all of the benefits this city has to offer.
