2009 Arlington and Mansfield Texas New Home Construction Does Well
The New Year is looking good so far for the Arlington and Mansfield housing market. With cities listed in the top ten lists, great entertainment and shopping, the Arlington and Mansfield area continues to gain popularity for both new and existing residents alike.
The Dallas Morning News’ Steve Brown reported today on promising 4th Quarter for new home construction in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The report stated that this was the first time in the last three years that home construction went up in the last quarter of the year.
To many industry professionals, this is simply more evidence that the Arlington and Mansfield area real estate market is moving right along at a strong, steady pace. Over 400 more new home projects were begun in 2009 compared to 2008 in the 4th quarter.
While Arlington and Mansfield home sales are slightly slower than they were a few years ago, they market here is still outperforming those in other areas of the country. In fact, industry professionals in other parts of the nation are keeping a close watch on the Arlington and Mansfield Metroplex area for tips to help their own struggling real estate markets.
With the number of homes for sale in the area, home buyers will have a nice choice of both existing homes and new construction homes to choose from. Home values and prices in Dallas-Fort Worth and the surrounding areas have reminded stable and reasonable so homebuyers are sure to get a good deal and home sellers should be able to sell at prices that are fair to all.
It will be very interesting going forward into the new year to see how well the Arlington and Mansfield real estate market does.
