The Responsibility of the Media??

I have recently been given the privelage to read Real Estate articles on MSN and view media broadcasts on MSNBC that are quite amazing. Amazing in the fact of just how inaccurate they are and just how irresponsible the media consistently is. These "experts" and I will use the term loosely, have never completed a mortgage transaction or sold a property of any kind in their career. However they are given authority and credibility to subjects because of their prowess to exposure in these media outlets. The most recent panic article now centers around appraisals. The fact of the matter is that the vast majority of appraisals have always been accurate and fair but these media outlets make this sound like a huge scandal. The secong issue is that this was approved in New York not nationally. Freddie and Fannie have alot of discriminatory uphill battles in front of them on this one. Please call a qualified Real Estate Mortgage Broker or Realtor for your best advise.
